Frequently asked questions
- Is the test email tool free?
- Yes. It is free and needs no account - daily limits apply per address and per network.
- Can I customise the message?
- No. The content is fixed to prevent abuse, and it carries a permanent one-click opt-out for the recipient.
- Does “accepted” mean it reached the inbox?
- No. A server accepting the message only means it took responsibility for it - it may still be filed as spam. See deliverability vs placement.
- Why did my test fail?
- Common causes are greylisting, a non-existent address, or the receiver blocking the connection. The SMTP response we show usually explains it.
- Want a full authentication report instead?
- Use the email diagnostics tool to grade a sender's SPF, DKIM, DMARC, TLS and blocklist health.
